LEMONGRASS GRILL

     After 25 years of success with the Golden Dragon (Cuyahoga Falls, OH), Meng Pung and his wife Eileen have become proud owners of the Lemongrass Grill, one of the few Thai restaurants in the area. Meng has been cooking for over 30 years and has been in the restaurant industry for just as long. He was born and raised in Battambang, Cambodia which borders Thailand, so Thai cuisine is no stranger to him. Meng has traveled to over a dozen countries and has learned many different cooking techniques along the way. When asked why he chose to open a Thai restaurant, Meng explains that it all ties back to an old friend in Bangkok. Meng's friend, another chef, contacted him, wanting to work with him once again. The two decided to put their heads together and create a selection of authentic Thai food that everyone could enjoy.
